Visual Arts Program

All High School grades have Visual Arts Classes.

The arts are a distinctive way of understanding and giving purpose to learning, interpreting life’s experiences, developing one’s identity and sense of self-worth. Our Visual Arts program includes variety, integration and exploration of problem solving situations in a genuine and creative way.

Our students are encouraged to effect the environment in a positive way. The student is guided to share his or her feelings and impact others. Art is a vehicle for knowing and understanding the world and our heritage. It is an active experiential learning in a meaningful context.

The students will learn the following techniques among others.

·         Artistically create and name a portfolio.

·         How to use things in the environment to express thoughts and feelings by converting them into art pieces (recycle).

·         Painting techniques.

·         Technological techniques.

·         Sculpting techniques.

·         Cultural expressions through the Fine Arts.
